    Welcome to the Fairview 3A/4A Sectional 3 Meet

* SCHOOLS ATTENDING:
  ** 3A:  Fultondale, Hanceville, Holly Pond, Holt, J.B.Pennington, Locust Fork, Oakman, St. Bernard, Susan Moore, Vinemont, Winfield.
  ** 4A:  Anniston, Ashville, Cherokee County, Cleburne County, DAR, Fairview, Handley, Hokes Bluff, Jacksonville, Lincoln, Oneonta, White Plains.

* COURSE: Grass, some shade, very scenic, One of the Best Spectator Friendly courses in Alabama. Easy Access to Start, Mile markers and Finish Line.

RUNNER/TEAM INSTRUCTION:
* We are using electronic chips. Runners make sure the bib # and the chip # match. Each runners name is listed on your bib. Make sure the chips are zip tied securely to your shoes. Insert the zip-tie tip through the flat side as in these pics.


After the race, the electronic chips will be removed by a race official at the finish chute. DO NOT STOP IN THE CHUTE.

* Runners must be at the starting line 15 minutes prior to your race time.

* Choose your own starting blocks.

* Course is well marked.

* Please pick up all garbage around your team tent before you leave.

* Non-Runners must stay off of the start line.

* Registration / Packet Pickup: South Pavilion next to Finish Line.


GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
* SPECTATORS, PLEASE STAY OFF THE COURSE, KEEP IT CLEAR FOR RUNNERS!!!

* Please help us keep the park clean by picking up all trash before, during, and after the race.

* Thanks to the many volunteers that are assisting at today's race.

* If you have an announcement, it must be cleared through the meet officials to be given to me at the Sound Tent at the starting line. Emergency announcements will be made immediately.

* Restrooms are located at the middle pavilion.

* Concessions are across the road at the Fairview Superette.

* State has sent SECTIONAL APPAREL to Sell

* All coaches, family members, non-current runners, and spectators must stay off of the race course, off of the start line, and out of the finish chute. Keep the course clear at all times.

* Please be aware of your surroundings and make room for emergency personnel trying to get runners out of the course.



AWARDS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
* This meet is a qualifier for the AHSAA XC State Championship.
  ** Top 4 teams qualify for State Championship.
  ** Top 6 individuals not on qualifying teams also qualify to State.

* Top 4 teams receive trophy
* Top 10 Individuals Receive All Section Medals.

* Awards ceremony after last race under middle pavilion.
